What to expect when you reach out

How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent local provider. That is a separate business that does tree work in your area. Coachescomfort Tree Service makes the introduction, and then the conversation is between you and the provider.

There is no staff list to read here, because the people doing your job are the provider's own crew. Ask each provider who will be at your home.

What Happens on the Call

The first talk is usually short and simple. Expect questions like these:

  • Where is the tree, and how tall does it look?
  • Is it leaning, cracked, dead, or already down?
  • Is it near the house, a fence, or power lines?
  • Do you also want the stump ground?

Photos can help. A provider may ask for a few, then suggest a visit to look at the tree in person.

What to Ask a Provider

A calm list helps on a stressful day. Here are good things to ask:

  • Can you give me a written quote?
  • What is included, such as cleanup, hauling, and stump grinding?
  • Do you carry insurance, and can you show me?
  • How will you protect my roof, lawn, and fence?
  • What could change the price once work begins?
  • When could you realistically start?

Typical U.S. prices vary by job, so a number over the phone is only a rough idea. The written quote is the one to rely on.

Emergency Situations

If a tree has fallen or a large limb is hanging over your home, stay clear and keep others away. If anyone is in danger, contact local emergency services. After that, ask providers about emergency tree removal or storm tree clearance. Many providers can respond quickly, but availability varies.

You Are in Control

You do not have to agree to anything on the first call. You can ask questions, compare quotes, and take a day to think when the situation allows. Small sign, early call is a good habit, but you still decide who does the work and when.
